Apple today updated its iOS and iPadOS 27 Feature Availability page, confirming that more than 30 new languages and language variants are now supported across features such as Dictionary: Thesaurus, Activate with Siri, and Visual Look Up. Here’s what’s new.
Language support extended in iOS and iPadOS 27
Apple has a lengthy support page where it breaks down language and territory support for nearly 200 iOS and iPadOS features, including everything from Accessibility and Apple Pencil features to Calendar and Spotlight Suggestions.
Today, the company updated the page to reflect the dozens of languages and language variants added with iOS 27 and iPadOS 27. The additions span Dictionary definitions and thesaurus entries; QuickType Keyboard features such as language support, autocorrection, predictive typing, multilingual typing, and QuickPath; Siri wake-word support; and Visual Look Up.
