Apple is launching Apple Music Hall at Battersea Power Station in London. Fans can visit the venue’s dedicated website and register for updates on when initial tickets go on sale.
The 600-capacity hall will host intimate concerts staged as one-off shows, with every performance streamed live for Apple Music subscribers.
The venue includes a 38-foot-wide stage, a 48-speaker surround-sound system designed for an immersive Spatial Audio experience, and infrastructure for more than 16 broadcast cameras alongside iPhone video capture.
Apple says performers can give fans a close-up, single performance and leave with a broadcast-ready mix, a Spatial Audio recording and multi-camera video captured from multiple angles.
Apple Music Hall opens September 28, though the inaugural lineup has not yet been revealed.
At the same time, Apple announced new radio station studios at Battersea, where all Apple Music Radio hosts based in London now broadcast from.
