Apple posted a video on its YouTube channel today that shows how parents can oversee both the new and existing options available in Child Accounts. You can view it below.

Just a few days back, we detailed the numerous parental‑control enhancements Apple introduced across its devices with iOS 27, iPadOS 27, and macOS 27.
Today Apple unveiled a fresh animated video that spotlights some of these new capabilities, while also reminding viewers of existing tools that help parents keep “kids even safer on iPhone, iPad, and Mac,” in Apple’s wording.
According to Apple, the process begins with creating a child account, allowing parents to select age‑appropriate protections for their devices.
Once set up, Apple notes that parents can manage which app categories their children may use, green‑light new apps and games via Ask to Buy, and employ the new Ask to Browse tool to allow or block specific websites in Safari.
The video also covers controls for approving new contacts, the expanded Communication Safety feature, the newly introduced Time Allowances and Schedules options, and additional settings.
Although the visual style differs, the clip echoes Apple’s “Intention” video that opened WWDC 2013; both use simple shapes and playful motion to convey the idea and feeling behind the topic.
