While Bose is widely recognized for its noise-canceling headphones, the brand also offers a diverse range of audio speakers. Recently, the company unveiled the Lifestyle Collection, a fresh lineup of home audio equipment featuring a dedicated speaker, soundbar, and subwoofer. All three devices—the Lifestyle Ultra Speaker, Lifestyle Ultra Soundbar, and Lifestyle Ultra Subwoofer—support both Google Cast and AirPlay, allowing users to operate them as a unified high-performance system or distribute them across various rooms.
The compact Lifestyle Ultra Speaker features three drivers: two positioned at the front and one angled upward. Its sleek design incorporates a woven fabric grille and intuitive touch controls on the top surface, including a radial slider for volume adjustment. This device functions as a standalone smart speaker compatible with Alexa+, or two units can be paired for stereo sound. Equipped with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi capabilities, it also includes a 3.5mm auxiliary port for wired connections. Audio performance is enhanced by TrueSpatial processing to maximize the up-firing driver’s potential and CleanBass technology, which employs QuietPort acoustics to deliver rich bass without distortion.
Designed for home theaters, the Lifestyle Ultra Soundbar and Lifestyle Ultra Subwoofer form a powerful duo. The soundbar contains six full-range drivers, including two upward-firing ones, a dedicated center tweeter for clear dialogue, and two PhaseGuide drivers for precise sound direction. By adding two Lifestyle Ultra Speakers and the new subwoofer, the system can be expanded to a 7.1.4-channel configuration. The soundbar boasts a seamless build with a glass top and touch controls for an elegant appearance. CustomTune calibration adapts the audio to your room’s acoustics, while SpeechClarity offers AI-driven, adjustable dialogue enhancement. TrueSpatial audio processing and CleanBass acoustics are also integrated into this unit.
Pre-orders for all three Lifestyle Ultra products begin today, with general availability set for May 15. The Lifestyle Ultra Speaker, available in black or white, is priced at $299, while a special tan edition costs $349. The Lifestyle Ultra soundbar is listed at $1,099, and the Lifestyle Ultra Subwoofer is available for $899.
